There's some support in the education sector for the Government's controversial Investing in Educational Success policy.
The $359 million policy, which proposes to increase cross-school collaboration, create new teaching roles and a teacher-led innovation fund, has been rejected by the majority of primary school teachers and principals.
And while the PPTA, which represents secondary school educators, falls short of giving it a stamp of approval, it's in talks with the Government.
President Angela Roberts says it's a work in progress to ensure the policy won't be a waste of money and time for all involved.
