Tribal Huk leader Jamie Pink has appeared in Hamilton District Court this morning on gun charges.

Pink has been charged with two counts of possessing a loaded firearm, after two pump action shotguns were recovered from his bullet ridden and bloodied vehicle following a weekend where the gang ran P dealers out of Ngaruawahia.

Pink jovially stood in the dock with a patch covering his eye and bandages on his right hand and arm, with a strong contingent of supporters in the gallery

Community Magistrate Ngaire Mascelle remanded him on bail without plea and he will reappear in court on the 16th of November.
