Thirteen people, including four youths, were arrested at Christmas in the Park at Auckland Domain last night.

The 13 arrests made were all for offences relating to alcohol and disorder.

Another ten youths were taken home by police from the annual event and had their parents called.

Last year only four people were arrested at the event, which is now in its 23rd year.

The police presence was highly visible at the event and extra staff were also put on trains.
