Police have released a snap-shot taken from CCTV footage of a person who's wanted in relation to a burglary at a Christchurch bar.

Police say the man was wearing a balaclava and a tartan bandana when he went into the Sideline Bar on Stanmore Road at about 8.20 yesterday morning.

He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Detective Constable Brent Menzies is asking anyone with information to come forward.
