Invercargill Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted by three men in a park.

The incident happened on Saturday night, between 10.30 and 11 o'clock.

The woman was walking through Elizabeth Park from Lauder Crescent to John Street, when she was assaulted by three men she did not know.

Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or has any information about the incident.
