A man has been arrested after two people suffered serious injuries in Takanini this afternoon.

Police were called about 3.10pm following reports of two people being injured at a property on Great South Rd.

 “They have both sustained serious injuries and have been transported to receive medical attention,” police said in a statement.

 “Police have attended immediately and a man has been arrested.”
