Two men charged with the murder of Wellington man Matthew Stevens have pleaded not guilty.
Darrin Wilkie-Morris and Stuart Wilton entered the pleas in the High Court in Wellington this morning.
Supporters of Matthew Stevens gasped and called the men liars as the pleas were entered.
Mr Stevens' body was found on Paekakariki Hill in November, hours after his car was discovered at the same place.
A third defendant, Kelly Crook, also pleaded not guilty to murder in February.
The trio have been remanded in custody, and are due to stand trial in February.
