
Northland Police had a busy day on Tuesday, nabbing three separate high risk offenders.
The first arrest in Tikipunga involved an officer chasing a 33-year-old man through several properties, and commandeering a member of the public to drive him down the road to get a head of the chase.
Police then chased down another 24-year-old active offender, who they found hiding under a bed in Western Hills.
During the search for the 24-year-old, police came across one of his friends trying to steal a car in Avenues, who ran, but was eventually caught by a dog handlers.
