A Hamilton man accused of indecently assaulting a young girl in Whitianga last year has been granted interim name suppression.
The 35-year-old administrator appeared in the Hamilton District Court today facing one charge of indecently assaulting a five year old girl.
The young girl was assaulted when she ran ahead of her family as they were returning from the beach.
He has been remanded on bail and is not to enter parks, reserves and beaches or associate with anyone under the age of 16.
He'll reappear in court on November 17.
