A Christchurch man charged with violent sex offences two decades ago has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The 48-year-old, who has continued name suppression, is alleged to have abducted and raped a woman in the suburb of Burwood in 1994.
He’s also been charged with burglary, and threatening with a knife.
During an appearance via video-link in the Christchurch District Court this morning, Judge Noel Walsh granted him bail as he was at little risk of re-offending, and was unlikely to flee.
He’ll be back in court on April 20th.
