Scepticism over the Victorian Government's decision to pull out of hosting the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Premier Daniel Andrews announced the move yesterday, over concerns the cost of hosting had ballooned from $2.5 million to at least $6 billion.
Commonwealth Games Federation vice-president Kereyn Smith told Mike Hosking it's a lot of money, but something doesn't add up.
She says Victoria made the decision for a regional games, developing regional infrastructure rather than host in just Melbourne alone, and now they've pulled out.
