A murdered Christchurch man was allegedly executed and shot in the eyes.

24-year-old Bradley Lomax's body was found on the banks of the Waimakariri River on the night of September 4th 2017.

36-year-old Kasha Gosset and 31-year-old Cody Martin are each charged with his murder at the High Court in Christchurch.

The court has heard Lomax was killed with four shots.

The Crown says he and his alleged killers are known to each other, having a common love interest.

Gosset and Martin have each pleaded guilty to other charges of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine, firearms and ammunition.
