Another case of needle found in strawberries, this time at a Timaru supermarket.

Foodstuffs says the remaining strawberries have been removed from sale.

Spokeswoman Antoinette Laird says they are liaising with the police and the Ministry of Primary Industries.

She's encouraging all customers to contact stores directly if any of their products have been tampered with.

Strawberries were found recently in Geraldine and Tauranga.

Earlier this year, needles were found in dozens of strawberries across Australia, causing a massive loss in profits for farmers.
