A Hornby resident's concerned a Denton Park hearings panel member has conflicted interests.
A public hearing is underway for the Christchurch City Council's proposed reclassification of the site where they want to build a $35.7 million pool, library and service centre.
Hornby resident Marc Duff's given a formal objection at the start of the meeting.
He says there's potential conflict between a person on the hearings panel and a staff member from the same party.
"That staff member is a project leader of the Denton Park reclassification and could have some undue influence over that hearing panel committee member."
Duff hopes they'll adjourn the hearing to decide on whether or not the person should be part of it to prevent any issues later on.
