The Financial Markets Authority has decided against taking further civil action in relation to South Canterbury Finance.
In making its decision, the FMA took into account the fact Crown Asset Management Limited had taken civil proceedings against the directors of SCF, for failing to comply with their duties.
The decision comes a week after the only director to be found guilty in relation to the collapse, Edward Sullivan was sentenced to 12 months' home detention.
