Hell Pizza has agreed to take on 64 young people with intellectual disabilities and train them under a new paid work experience scheme.
The pizza chain will take on the new workers at its 26 stores across the country after trialling the scheme in Wellington last year.
Workers will be given two two-hour training sessions per week to teach them about the industry.
The IHC, the national body representing those with intellectual disabilities, is welcoming the venture.
