The cost of sausages rose 4.9 per cent, to $10.30 per kilogram, and sirloin and porterhouse steak edged down slightly from its record high.

Tomatoes are getting cheaper, down 22-percent to $6.90 per kilo.

Lettuce prices are dropping event faster, down 30-percent to $1.28 per 500 gram head of lettuce.
