Auckland's economic growth agency says it's on target to facilitating $252 million in new business and investment for the city by June.
Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development says it's attracting high tech businesses and investment in Auckland's infrastructure and property development.
Chief executive Brett O’Riley says the target of facilitating the arrival or major operational expansion of five multi-national companies in the region has already been exceeded.
"We targeted 330 new jobs to the arrival or the expansion of multinationals in Auckland, and I'm pleased to say we're at 194 and looking good for increasing that number by the end of the financial year."
