Three people have been injured after a multi-vehicle crash that blocked a major West Auckland road this morning.
Police said the crash on Te Atatū Rd in Te Atatū South involved two cars and a bus.
The road has since reopened.
Emergency services were called around 11.35am, with injuries reported.
âMotorists are advised to avoid the area as emergency services work at the scene,â police said.
Hato Hone St John said one patient in a serious condition was transported to Auckland City Hospital. Two people in a moderate condition were taken to Waitakere Hospital.

A witness told the Herald traffic was backed up âall the way back to the main road of Te AtatÅ«â.
âI was driving past shortly afterwards and saw multiple police cars, fire trucks and ambulances at the scene. Firefighters were directing traffic away from the area,â the witness said.

An AT spokesperson told the Herald two passengers were on the bus when the incident occurred and they were not injured.
âThey were transferred to another bus and continued their journey. The bus driver was also not injured.
âAT will be working closely with NZ Police, other emergency services, and the bus operator to understand [what happened].â
Fire and Emergency New Zealand said three fire engines from Henderson and Te Atatū responded, with the Henderson truck departing at 12.10pm.
