Auckland train commuters are in line for faster travel times and more frequent services.
New services being introduced today, will mean a service on every line, every half hour, every day.

Auckland Transport's Mark Lambert expects the changes will encourage more people to catch the train.
"We expect to see quite a big increase further of the good growth figures we've been seeing on rail.
The introduction of electric trains has allowed more train services to the southern and eastern lines.
Auckland Transport's Mark Lambert says they'll be more off-peak services than ever before.
"From Pukekohe there's going to be additional evening services and services on the weekend."
People travelling south on the southern line will need to transfer to the eastern to reach Sylvia Park.
