A newcomer is set to join the concrete jungle across the Auckland skyline.

The 190-metre tall office tower, to be built in 2018, is set to be the tallest new office tower in the country.

The 30-level tower, that includes a 125-room hotel and luxury brand shops, is to cost $675 million.

Developers Mansons TCLM announced the plans for the building to be built on the corner of Albert, Wyndham and Swanson Streets and Mills Lane.
