Aucklanders are expected to turn out in their thousands today to mark a special anniversary at an annual community get-together.
The Grey Lynn Park Festival is celebrating its 30th birthday.
Once a small affair organised to bring neighbours together, the festival has drawn crowds of up to 100 thousand people over the years.
Events kick off at 9.30am and run all day, wrapping up at 6pm.
There are 250 stalls to peruse for a spot of Christmas shopping, along with food, music, children's rides, circus tricks and more.
