Ports of Auckland appears to have all but ruled out appealing a High Court decision against its extensions to Bledisloe Wharf.
The court has overturned its consents to extend the wharf because the public weren't notified about the plans.
The council-owned port company will discuss the issue today, but Mayor Len Brown says they have indicated to him they won't appeal the decision.
"I'm quietly confident that the outcome to that meeting should be beneficial in the end towards the port staying."
Auckland Council issued the consents for the Bledisloe Wharf extension, and have ruled out their own appeal of the decision.
