UPDATED 12.30PM: A helicopter has crashed north of Auckland, injuring the pilot and passenger.
It came down onto farmland off Duck Creek Road in Stillwater.
Police say the pair have been assessed by Westpac Rescue Helicopter crews.
One has been taken to North Shore Hospital with moderate injuries, and the other was treated at the scene.
The cause of the crash and the extent of damage to the helicopter isn't yet known.
Police have secured the scene, and the Civil Aviation Authority is to investigate.
