Cyber experts are warning parents against letting their young children use Instagram, or even from starting accounts for them.
Some say it's worse than putting them in beauty pageants, because its the whole world judging and the pressure is enormous.
They also say it can give them a false sense of popularity and purpose.
Susan McLean from Australia's Cyber Safety Solutions says the photos can end up in the hands of some bad people.
"The other really concerning thing for me is when police arrest online child sex offenders right around the world and they go through their computers of photos, there will be hundreds of thousands of photos of cute little kids that these creeps have pulled from public social media accounts."
