Ceremonies have been held in Japan to mark five years since the huge earthquake and tsunami, which caused the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl.

Japan's Emperor and Prime Minister have taken part in a national ceremony in Tokyo, bowing their heads in respect for the 18 thousand who died.
