In Australia, the search for the body of slain bride-to-be Stephanie Scott continues.

There's still no trace of the 26-year-old teacher - who police think was murdered by a local school cleaner.

The small community of Leeton held a candlelight vigil last night and Mayor Paul Maytom says it was especially hard for Ms Scott's fiancee and family.

"Certainly a very emotional time for them there's no doubt, and working their way through this of course, and especially with a wedding day being planned for tomorrow.

"It's so devastating for them - and us of course."
