Just a few thousand tickets remain for the All Whites intercontinental World Cup qualifier against Peru next month.
24 hours after they were available for pre-sale, nearly 30,000 tickets have been snapped up.
Without temporary seating installed, Westpac Stadium's capacity is 36,500.
Former All Whites midfielder Harry Ngata isn't surprised at the demand.
"People just don't want to miss out. They saw what happened in the game [against] Bahrain, and they saw the stadium packed against Mexico - they just don't want to miss out."
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at midday.
