UPDATED 9.45PM: Delay tactics have failed to stop the progress of major changes to employment law.
The Employment Relations Amendment Bill has now passed the committee stage, despite attempts from Labour and the Greens to filibuster with last minute amendments.
It will go through its third reading later this week.
The Bill has drawn criticism for removing tea breaks for some workers, as well as removing the requirement for employers to conclude collective bargaining.
