The Green Party is going to release their ministerial diaries, so the public knows exactly who they have met with and why.
It is part of a push to be more transparent and to help counter the influence of money in politics.
Green MPs and staff will also be banned from accepting any corporate hospitality.
Co-leader James Shaw says it's about levelling the playing field for influence.
"Large companies, who have got a lot of cash, are able to wine and dine members or parliament or ministers, at corporate boxes at the rugby or something like that, whereas the vast majority of people and organisations don't have that option."
He says now that the Greens are in government it's important to take the lead on transparency.
"Particularly the measure around publishing ministerial diaries is something that a number of other places have introduced and it just helps to shine a light on, essentially, who has influence in the government."
