The inquiry sparked by Dirty Politics allegations into the actions of Judith Collins, is due back this week.
The former Justice Minister resigned in September amid claims she worked with Whale Oil blogger Cameron Slater and others to smear the head of the Serious Fraud Office - while she was the agency's minister.
Prime Minister John Key ordered an inquiry - which is expected to report back within days.
Ms Collins declined to comment ahead of the inquiry's completion.
