The police force needs new recruits, and has set aboutfinding them by releasing what's dubbed "World’s Most Entertaining Police Recruitment Video"

The fun flick stars everyone from members of the dog and armed offenders squad, to frontline officers with some incredible gymnastic ability.

The message is, if you want New Zealand to be the safest country in the world, then apply to join the crew in blue.

Police Commissioner Mike Bush says they want to attract more women, Māori, Pacific Islanders, and people from all other ethnicities and backgrounds to better reflect the communities Police serve.
