It seems Labour's on the right track when it comes to charging royalties for large commercial water users.
A Herald/ZB Kantar opinion poll shows 70 percent of respondents believe the royalty should be charged to help clean up our rivers, even if the cost was passed on to consumers.
Newstalk ZB political editor Barry Soper said, "just 19 percent didn't like the idea, more males than females ... 73 to 68 believe a royalty should be charged."
Labour has said it will charge a royalty, but just how much would be decided by a working group after the election.
