An old bomb found in the basement of a house in West Auckland has sparked a bomb squad callout this afternoon.
The team entered the property on Fred Taylor Drive in Westgate, to check out the 50-year old explosive device just after midday.
The bomb was dismantled and removed from the property without further incident.
