A person has been charged after a woman was attacked outside the Christchurch Casino on New Years morning.
She was assaulted around 1am.
Police have been reviewing CCTV footage and being helped by eyewitnesses.
The 28-year-old man is due in the Christchurch District Court next Thursday.
