The New Zealand-Korea Free Trade Agreement has come into force today.
This means our current duty-free access to the Korean market is here to stay, and tariffs on 48-percent of our exports will be eliminated.
The Government says it's tipped to save us 793-million dollars at the border.
It says those industries that will immediately benefit are wine and cherries, followed by kiwifruit and other products like hides and skins, some forestry, aluminium and industrial goods.
