The road toll this Easter stands at zero as Police enforce a reduced speed threshold of four kilometres per hour over the long weekend.
The official Easter road toll period began at 4pm on Good Friday and runs until 6am Tuesday.
Last year five people died on the roads at Easter, from a reported 95 injury-causing crashes.
Three people were killed on the roads during Easter 2013.
The only fatality-free Easter ever recorded was in 2012.
