A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in Papakura in the early hours of this morning.
Police have confirmed the stabbing took place in the South Auckland suburb at about 1am.
Authorities are expected to release more information today.
The incident reportedly happened on Airfield Road.
The man was taken in a serious condition to Middlemore Hospital.
