A woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in Auckland.
The accident happened just after 12pm on Mount Albert Road in Three Kings.
The woman has been taken to hospital and the Police Serious Crash Unit is at the scene.
Mount Albert Road has been closed between Hayr Road and Warren Ave while the scene is examined.
Diversions are in place.
