UPDATED 9.33am: The young autistic boy who's been missing all night in Marton has now been found.

Searchers say he seems to have come through his ordeal okay.

Kyle Mcgillivray had been walking his grandmother's dog yesterday afternoon when he was reported missing.

The dog was found a short distance away, and search and rescue volunteers are out looking for him now.

The dog was found at Malteurop off Wings Line after a short time.
