A 40-year-old man has been taken to hospital after he reportedly suffered an electric shock at Auckland's Sylvia Park shopping centre.
St John transported the man to Middlemore Hospital in a moderate condition, around 4pm.
Fire and Emergency has confirmed crews were called to investigate a fire alarm activation, for which there was no fire.
They have set up a cordon in the shopping centre.
Police say WorkSafe has been notified.
