Bus crash leaves person in serious condition

Powerlines have been brought down, after a bus crashed into a building in the Auckland suburb of Devonport.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Vauxhall Rd around 9.30 this morning.

Four passengers and a driver were aboard the vehicle when it happened.

One person is in a serious condition, another moderate and a third has minor injuries.

Spokesperson for Fire and Emergency NZ Megan Ruru said a structural engineer has been requested from the council.
