Police have busted a methamphetamine ring operating in the capital.
Over the past month, Operation Oak has targeted the meth dealing activities of a 53-year-old Wellington man.
As a result, warrants were yesterday executed at 13 addresses in Wellington, Hutt Valley and Porirua, resulting in the arrest of seven people.
They've appeared in the Wellington District Court facing charges of supplying and offering to supply methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine for supply, offering to supply and supplying GBL, and possession of cannabis and drug utensils.
Detective senior sergeant Tim Leitch says the investigation also uncovered the regular trading of stolen property - including phones, designer bags and jewellery - in exchange for drugs.
