A North Shore couple will appear in court tomorrow on drug supply charges after police found $800 thousand dollars worth of methamphetamine at their home.
Police carried out a raid at the Greenhithe home earlier today.
The search warrant came after several weeks of investigation ino the alleged sale and supply of meth.
Detective Sergeant Callum McNeill said 800 grams of meth was found at the property, including 20 bags which had been packaged and prepared for sale as ounces of methamphetamine.
Each bag was worth around $28 thousand dollars.
"These 20 bags of meth alone and worth more than half a million dollars. Its also 20 bags of utter misery and by that I mean the flow-on effects that the sale of this drug would have had on users, their families, friends and the rest of the community."
Callum McNeill said police also seized an $80 thousand dollar Louis Vuitton handbag from the address which is thought to have been bought with the proceeds of crime.
He said the police don't believe the alleged offenders are actual users of the drug, but that they use it purely for financial transaction.
