UPDATED 5.17PM: Four men have been found guilty of the murder of a North Otago farm worker.
After a trial spanning nearly ten weeks' Steven Boskell, Robert Cummings and brothers Ryan and Jacob Geary-Smart have been found guilty of the murder of Justin McFarlane.
The verdict has been handed down today in the High Court at Dunedin.
Justin McFarlane was attacked when the men went around to his property to buy drugs in September last year.
Police say they're pleased with the guilty verdicts in the Justin McFarlane murder case.
Detective Senior Sergeant John Ferguson says it's been a lengthy and complex investigation.
He says the guilty verdicts will allow Mr McFarlane's family and friends to move towards some closure.
