Police have released a description of the two men believed to have serious assaulted two Korean fishermen at Ti Point Wharf north of Auckland on Wednesday.
The two men are described as Caucasian, in their 30s, and of average build.
They were seen driving a dark red Ford Falcon station wagon and had a young dog with them, possibly a red-nose pitbull.
Detective Constable Jackson Shewry says the men were also at Leigh Wharf on Tuesday afternoon.
He says they'd like to hear from anyone who was at Ti Point or Leigh Wharf and may have spotted the men,.
