A Christchurch demolition company owes unsecured creditors $3.4 million as it goes into voluntary liquidation.
CJ Solutions Ltd, trading as Shilton & Brown Demolition has gone into liquidation with PKF Goldsmith Fox now trying to retrieve what they can.
Audit & Insolvency Partner Gordon Hansen said they're trying to identify where plant equipment is and who has security over it.
"That way we know what plants we can deal in directly otherwise the security holders will sell off the plant if there's insufficient value in it for us and we'll get whatever remains from that."
Mr Hansen said they have "$500,00 owing to the IRD, that's made up of GST and PAYE."
They haven't yet established the split between the two.
The bank is owed just over $700,000.
