The top of the legal ladder is the US Supreme Court, which heard nearly three hours of Trump arguing that he can’t be tried for anything.Â
US Correspondent Richard Arnold told Andrew Dickens that their argument was that presidents should have immunity when dealing with situations that may arise.Â
He said that the case effectively had Trump’s lawyers suggesting that a US President can legally order the assassination of a political rival.Â
