It's all about football this morning, as Prince Harry prepares to wrap up his New Zealand tour.

Today marks the final day of the Prince's week-long visit to our shores.

He'll spend the morning at The Cloud, on Auckland's waterfront, at a FIFA Under-20 event.

The Prime Minister will be there to welcome him, with hundreds of royal fans expected to turn out for their final glimpse of Prince Harry.

He'll get a chance to lace up his boots, captaining a team in a five-a-side game of football.

A visit to High Performance Sport New Zealand's National Training Centre will be his last engagement, before he heads home later tonight.

Last night, Prince Harry thanked everyone he had met for a hugely warm welcome.

He says he had heard so many wonderful things about our people from the Queen, his father, and most recently William and Catherine.

"I cant believe it's taken me over 30 years to get here, but I'm delighted that I finally made it.

"I was sounding like some sort of explorer - a failed explorer."

Prince Harry says it certainly won't take him that long to come back.

Harry's famous humour came out in his only formal speech of the tour last night - when he joked about our prowess on the field.

"As a passionate rugby fan, I've always wanted to know how you can be so damned good with such a small population.

"But don't worry, I'm not here to spy on you. I come in peace - despite what people think."
