The Big Feed live rural telethon kicked off at 6am today, aiming to raise money to support over 110 food banks across the country.
 Last year’s telethon resulted in a collective 1.2 million meals being provided- and this year's hosts are hoping to raise more donations to beat that record.
Motivational speaker and host Dave Letele joined The Country's Jamie Mackay to discuss.
